Our Story

Alchema was born from a simple frustration: why do European job seekers have to choose between powerful AI tools and keeping their data in Europe? Founded in early 2026 in Aichach, Bavaria, we set out to build the career platform that we ourselves wanted to use -- one that combines cutting-edge AI with genuine EU data sovereignty. Every line of code runs on European servers, every AI query stays within EU borders, and every user owns their data completely.

Vaisakhan Arackal Sanu

Co-Founder & Engineering

Full-stack engineer with a background in AI systems and cloud infrastructure. Previously built data pipelines and ML systems at scale. Leads Alchema's engineering, from the Mistral AI integration to the FEFO credit engine. Passionate about making AI accessible without compromising on privacy.

Chris Zanfir

Co-Founder & Operations

Operations lead with experience in business development, process optimization, and the German startup ecosystem. Manages Alchema's growth strategy, partnerships, and compliance. Ensures that every feature we ship meets German legal standards, from GDPR to BFSG accessibility.

Our Technology

Alchema uses Mistral AI (Paris, France) for all AI processing -- no OpenAI, no Google, no US cloud. Your data is stored on Neon Postgres in Frankfurt, Germany. We support 12 major ATS systems including Workday, Greenhouse, SAP SuccessFactors, and Personio. Our 19 specialized AI agents handle everything from resume tailoring to salary negotiation coaching.

The Company

Alchema is operated by EliteX GbR, a German company founded by Vaisakhan Arackal Sanu and Chris Zanfir. We are based in Aichach, Bavaria, Germany.

EU-Based & GDPR-Compliant

All data is processed on EU servers (Neon Postgres in Frankfurt). There is no transfer to US cloud services. AI runs server-side via Mistral — users never need to provide their own API keys.

Accessibility (BFSG)

Alchema is built to comply with the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We design for keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and reduced motion preferences from the start.
